My wife Karin and I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our website. Our small shop is located in Burnaby, BC Canada, across from The Bridge Film Studio, The Home Depot, and a short walk from the Gilmore SkyTrain station. Karin and I incorporated AFX in December of 2004, purchased our permanent facility and began wholesale manufacturing in early 2005.

Both of us take extreme pride in stating that AFX is 100% Canadian owned and operated. Our shop is a full service sculpture studio, and we work in a wide variety of materials. Karin and I bring many decades of retail and fine art experience to our venture, and are fully aware of your concerns as a retailer, and those of your clients.

AngelStone FX Ltd. does not import any of its products. Our artwork is designed by myself, and sculpted either at the shop... or on my kitchen table! It is then molded for production, cast, finished and painted by my wife and myself. If you are located in the Vancouver regional area, we will personally deliver it to you to save you the cost of shipping.

Just to be different, We have NO MINIMUM ORDER. If you require just one coaster and are willing to pay for the shipping and handling, or are located locally, we will take your order. AFX offers an incentive program to save on shipping for our out of town clients. (Please find the details on our wholesale price list.)

About the Artist

Angelo Loperfido was born in Vancouver BC. After graduating high school with honors in fine art achievement, he attended Langara Community College's Fine Arts Department taking a major in sculpture and ceramics, with a minor in painting.

On graduation, Angelo then attended the Emily Carr College of Art in 1980 focusing all his attention on stone and metal sculpture. He graduated in 1983 having won an architectural design project while a student.

In addition, Angelo has taken many, regular, summer and night courses in such medium as intaglio, soap stone carving, and studied under world renowned ceramicist Walter Dexter. He is a self-taught PhotoShop pixel jockey, and has worked as a cartoonist, illustrator and graphic layout editor for various contracts, private individuals and magazines.

Angelo's sculpting and graphic skills led him to work in Vancouver's TV/Film industry as a sketch artist, prosthetic designer and sculptor for The Outer Limits series, the made for TV movie; Cloned and the feature children's movie Big and Hairy.
